Larson-Juhl Product Team

Icon July 13, 2020

In this session, Larson-Juhl’s Product Team will reveal how trends emerge, evolve, and can be used to keep product assortments fresh. Staying relevant in a fast-changing world and marketplace is important to maintain and grow and business, especially one so inherently linked to fashion & interiors. Sonia and Carrie will look at current trends from top to bottom, starting at a macro level and moving into the trends that impact the framing industry and as well as how these trends manifest into relevant new mouldings and selling tactics for your business. You will learn how to incorporate these trends into your everyday framing and how to keep your selling message relevant to your customers’ needs. There will also be a sneak peak of a NEW Larson-Juhl Moulding Collection that will release later in July – something you don’t want to miss!

Sonia Stow, Larson-Jul’s Product Director, has been with the company since June 2017, starting as Product Manager over Moulding. She previously worked in Design-Build Engineering, achieving LEED A.P. and working on existing building renovations. If Sonia could frame her home in only one Larson-Juhl Moulding Collection, it would be Brittany.

Product Development Manager, Carrie Smith, has been with Larson-Juhl since October 2017. Carrie has a background in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech and is versed in marrying product engineering and high design; which often comes in handy at Larson-Juhl. She has over 9 years of woodworking + millwork design experience combined. If Carrie was a moulding collection she’d be Cumberland, for it celebrates her love of natural wood and the beauty in its imperfection!
