"The beginning of this year a client requested a particular frame and liner for a beautiful painting that was to be placed in the master suite. The search for the perfect Moulding and liner began. After utilizing Larson-Juhl’s Design Studio to narrow down our choices the decision was reached by the client and her staff to choose Calais 2 1/4 paired with Flax Sand Liner 1 1/16. The Calais gold is stunning, however chopping and joining this Moulding takes skill and patience. The level of craftsmanship and skill executed to blend and match each corner of this Moulding far exceeds the norm. I don’t know who stole Harry Potter’s wand to create magical corners but please someone thank the team that made this possible. Also please mention my appreciation for matching the miters of the liner to the miters of the Calais frame. Overall LJ Back Room, my hats off to you and your team for your skilled craftsmanship and dedication to excellence. Thank you all for what you do for us framers.
